Scott Irwin


 

Brother Scott Irwin was raised as a Master Mason at Baylor Lodge #1235 AF&AM in 2000, and has held several Masonic offices since then, including the role of Worshipful Master in 2008-2009. Scott also completed degrees associated with the Scottish Rite and York Rite Bodies.

Scott grew up in Richardson Texas, having moved to Waco in 1999 with State Farm Insurance, where he was employed for thirty years in various state and national leadership roles. Upon concluding his time at State Farm, Scott continued his insurance operations career at Texas Farm Bureau Insurance in Waco, and is presently employed with Canoo Technologies, an electric vehicle manufacturer headquartered in Torrance California. Scott is proud to have worked his way through college, earning a Bachelor degree in business, and a Master of Business Administration, both from Mid-America Christian University, with magna cum laude honors.

Scott has been married to his wife Michelle for twenty seven years. They are the proud parents of son Aidan, a recent graduate of China Spring High School, and Eagle Scout, who is beginning his college career at McClennan County Community College, and Ashlyn, a ninth grader at China Spring Intermediate. Scott’s family is his passion, with Scott having endeavored to support his son’s Scouting career by serving as a Scout Leader, in addition to supporting his kids many interests including competitive swimming, music, China Spring Band, Football, FFA/Ag, among many others. Scott and his family attend Highland Baptist Church in Waco, where he serves as a Deacon.

Scott is honored and humbled to serve as Worshipful Master of Baylor Lodge for a second term, is excited about being a part of the many great things that Baylor Lodge is engaged in, including a greater presence in the community, and a continuation of a long standing history of making all worthy good men better through the many lessons and tenants that are taught through Masonry.
